I passed this place every day since moving to Elk Grove last year. I was very pleasantly surprised to walk in and see how cute and charming the decor was Even better was the food and the service. Exceptional service and the tamales were excellent with the green sauce. My brother ordered the burrito and guacamole and chips and he said the burrito was delicious. I don't know how they make their refried beans but they are delicious, they are thick and flavorful.

I've eaten at another location and this one is just as on point. The quality of food, drink and service belies the retail location. I had a carnitas and fish taco. The carnitas was one of the more flavorful I've had, and the fish taco was perfectly balanced between rich and light. Each was accompanied by a bounty of toppings which complimented the meat...

I've been living in the neighborhood for a number of years and tried this place years ago and again today. My first experience was great! I sat at the bar and the bartender, lady, was really cool and told me about the history of the resturant. What i love is that its family owned and they are excellent when it comes to customer service. Today i ordered two chicken burritos and boy let me tell you it was smackin!! My son even commented on how good the burrito was and asked where i got it from...

This place has been my local spot for a long time now. I love Americo and his entire family that run this place. They are working their butts off doing take out orders and have been treating their regulars like family. If you haven't given this local spot in Elk Grove you need to. Support local small business!
